He particularly enjoyed the Arepa Pabellon, which combines shredded beef, black beans, and gouda cheese wrapped within a perfectly cooked arepa. The convenience of having such quality food prepared and packaged with care makes Ocho Tres Cinco a reliable choice for any occasion.
The reviews also emphasize the authenticity of the dishes, with Phil Far noting the simplicity and tastiness of the Venezuelan street food offered. “ Found this place just randomly walking by.. saw people enjoying their food, so i walked in! I ordered the Pollo Patacon con queso. The "bread" is actually flat-iron fried plantains!! Took a little while to arrive at the table, but the place is small, and popular, so that's understandable in my opinion. It was sooo good! A bit sloppy with the amount of sauce, but some things are sloppy by nature, again fine with me. I just say as a warning. Taste was fresh, full and complex with a multitude of wonderful layers of creamy and tart and savory. The plantains were flat grilled with lots of butter and were crispy and caramelized with a very slight chewiness that held the sandwich together where any basic bread would have just given up in a wet pulpy mess. Very very good! Very filling. ”
“ Quality stuffed arepas with superb packing for take-out orders. On a sleepy Sunday, I decided to pick up some food to take home and was pleasantly surprised with the care they took for my take-out order. For an order of two arepas and tequenos, it took less than 15 minutes; everything carefully wrapped in aluminum foil, and still hot when I got home 10 minutes later. I recommend the Arepa Pabellon (arepa stuffed with shredded beef, black beans, plantain, gouda cheese and salsandoval) with a side order of the tequenos (fried breaded cheese sticks). ”
